We are proud to announce that another original WW2 Bottisham mural will be on permanent display at the museum.
The mural of the Queen Mary was saved with great foresight by the Eighth Wall Art Conservation Society in the 1980’s when some of the original airfield buildings were knocked down.
It depicts the cruise liner that brought the 361st Fighter Group to England late in 1943.
It has been on display at the Bottisham Community Sports and Social Club for many years and the museum is extremely grateful to Katy Attwood for arranging it to come to the museum.
Thanks must also go to Andrew Arnold, Mark Easey and Shane for enabling its safe removal.

The mural will be on display when the museum reopens on Sunday April 6th.
