We went there initially for a Helicopter Trip, but were pleasantly surprised to find... read more alot more. The history of Bottisham was quite surprising & we enjoyed a couple of hours in the museum & the lovely tearoom. The knowledge of the volunteers, especially Peter & Tom was excellent, & we thank everyone for being so friendly & making it a very enjoyable day!

star ratingSo much to see during a very enjoyable visit.  - From outside you get little idea of just how much there is to see. Don’t be fooled, allow at least a few hours to make the most of your visit.... read more It’s a fascinating overview of how first the RAF and later the USAAF used the airfield during WWII, along with some excellent information about the local Home Guard and how the population came to terms with the war. The volunteers who man the exhibition and cafe deserve high praise for their friendliness and their knowledge. Well worth visiting and very informative.
