Welcome to Bottisham Airfield Museum

We are a small but steadily growing museum, based near to Cambridge, dedicated to honouring all those who served at Bottisham Airfield during the 1940’s: The RAF, the USAAF 8th Airforce and the Belgian Air Force, and also remembering the contribution made by local people.

The museum was founded in 2009 and in the years since, we have assembled a wide variety of exhibits, ranging from clothing to documents to relics from aircraft crash sites. One of our construction projects is to create a replica P-51 Mustang cockpit using original parts where possible.

We have now acquired the last remaining, original WW2 buildings and are in the process of restoring them to how they looked in 1944.
